Interview with Gokula Vishnu

Devansh Singh: How does it feel to win this tournament?

Gokula Vishnu: I never thought that I would win this event. Even in the last round, I was not sure, but winning this tournament is very special for me.

DS: Which match was the toughest for you and why?

GV: In round 6 against Vinoth Kumar sir, I have better position in the opening, but he converted and took advantage in middle game but he made slightly inaccurate moves then I took draw quite easily and round 8 against Kishan Kumar this time also I took advantage in opening, but after middlegame it became equal and he made one blunder that made him lose.

DS: What is one lesson this tournament taught you?

GV: To handle a difficult position with patience.

DS: Anything else you'd like to share, maybe a game from the event

GV: Yes, my round 6 and round 8 games...
