Praggnanandhaa and Tania Sachdev are the top seeds at Asian Continental 2022
25/10/2022 - Asian Continental Open and Women's championship is less than 24 hours away now. It is the strongest tournament India is hosting a little over 75 days after the successful completion of the globally acclaimed 44th Chess Olympiad. The top four in Open and top two in the Women will qualify to the respective FIDE World Cup 2023. Total US$ 60000 prize is up for grabs. Top three prizes in the Open section are $7000, $6000 and $5000, it is $6000, $5000 and $3000 in the Women's. GM R Praggnanandhaa and IM Tania Sachdev are the top seeds in the Open and Women's event respectively. Round 1 starts tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. IST. Predict the winners in both Open and Women's event.
